Dr. Sohn is Professor and Chair, Department of oral and
maxillofacial surgery, at Catholic University of Daegu, School of
Medicine, Daegu, Korea. He is the first introducer of Piezosurgery
(Mectron, Italy), SurgyBone(Silfradent,Italy) and UBS
(ItaliaMedica,Italy) in Asia Pacific Area. He gas been invited for
lectures on implantology and piezoelectric bone surgery nationally
and internationally for many years. He published many articles
and books on implantology and piezoelectric bone surgery in
national and international journal. He is recipient of 2007 Carles
English Award by Implant Dentistry which is flagship journal of
ICOI. He is past president and Chairman, Board of Directors,
ICOI Asia-Pacifix Section and founding president of ICOI
Korea-KSOI(Korean Society of Oral Implantologists). He was
congress chair of 9th congress of ICOI Asia Pacific Section in
2005.
