Hydrodynamic
Piezo
Internal
Sinus
Elevation
The HPISE Technique is the revolutionary internal
sinus lift technique developed by Professor Sohn.
The technique is safe, predictable and relatively easy
to learn. Compared with other techniques, it is less
invasive with fewer post-op complications.
HPISE stands for Hydrodynamic Piezo Internal Sinus
Elevation. The patent-pending piezo tip used for this
technique is demonstrated below on a pig.
by Professor D.S. Sohn
As you can see, due to the blunt nature of the tip
combined with the internal irrigation, the membrane is
easily elevated WITH NO MEMBRANE
PERFORATION. Professor Sohn's Piezo Tip is
designed to allow internal irrigation to gently lift the
sinus.
